gifts can bring in happiness..

But it can never match up your physical presence, because thats PRICELESS!

I wish I could be home today to 'see' and feel happiness.

Life is crazy!

Finally after four months of fretting, frustation and nagging, I got what I was waiting for long... My joining date!  :)
It wasnt easy though, many road blocks hinted that it might not be my destiny..
And now that I am here, I really wish that I could get some more days to prepare and enjoy.. 
Such is life. once you get something you desire, you are left with a thought 'what next?'


I am equally excited for the new phase and sad because I'll miss these old days.. Kinda mixed emotions :Venturing into a whole new world with aspirations of success (something which I always wanted), while separating from my dear ones.. 
Change is on the cards now.. A little more responsibility, less time for family / friends, no more TP days..
But the best part of all : getting a slice of life in my own plate!
Time and destiny knows whats in store, good or bad but atleast I am getting to live my dream.. No feeling better than this happiness!

P  - hey, aa gai joining? (In an elated voice, almost breathless)


Me - kaha se aa gayi yaar... remember what the TPO said !


P  - aa gayi hai, i just received a call asking to join on 11th dec bangalore.


Me - such jokes no longer interest me now, please!


P  - i am not kidding yaar, meri awaaz se aisa lagta hai kya!


Me  - okkk, congrats... ( with a deep relief)


P  - you'll get the call soon, stay glued to the phone... bye!

Life gives you the best when you expect the least!

Nobody is perfect!! and neither are their lives....

There may be people who may have everything but still they are not happy
and contented....we may even find people who may have nothing or just enough but
they sure are glad and joyful for whatever they have!!!

LIFE is full of problems and everybody,,yes EVERYBODY gets an equal share of it
with time...
What is more important is staying calm in such situations and
having faith in God that :
"THIS SHALL ALSO PASS THROUGH"!!!!

Everybody smiles during Happy times but the JOY of smiling through troubles
is indeed more SPECIAL......

When YOU are in trouble and pain,,just look at the people around U
and analyse their problems....The very next moment,your own pain and agony will
really seem insignificant in front of them!!

after this,,your sole aim would me to make them happy and then u will gradually
realise that your own problem disappears..

THATS the JOY of GIVING and HELPING others!!!!!!

So, next time you face a problem,,trust GOD and thank him for all the
things he has given you in life..

and always remember.........

Prioritize

Ever wondered how the outside world looks from the window of your own thoughts. You probably never had time for this, because you were too occupied pacing up with things going around. It happens so many times that we linger unto things that are never meant to be, just in a hope that one day success will be ours. It triggers off great confusion  when we try to fit into the things of our life rather than fit the things according to our life. It provides joy which lasts temporarily because we get dependent on them. A simple solution is to 'prioritize'. Take up things as they come in to you, realising how much important they are in the long run. Be it love, family, career ; each holds a special place. Though, the main decision lies in ' how much importance we give to things and during what time'. Once you achieve this balance, all the hurdles disappear.It helps in achieving confidence and immense happiness, because you tend to open up to the world beyond your rigid thoughts.

So always accept what life gives you and line up the things the way they give you the most happiness !!!!

Going on 22, single and loving it.....

If asked a question, are you single by choice or chance?? The most diplomatic answer would be "ofcourse by choice", even if it would have been by destiny. I wont get into that debate because that's notthe point and I totally respect what the answers would be...
Initially there was a point when this happened by chance and not by choice. Its a time when the things around you persuade you into what you don't believe in and you get carried away. But god always has a better option to put you back on the right track, through some way or the other.
Ofcourse, love is a beautiful feeling and it opens up all the gates that lead to happiness. But it should be worth the wait, not like : before you leave someone's hand, you are already holding another.. :D
Love is a pure thing which can never be expressed but only felt. Its a symbol of caring, understanding, sharing in a way which is very unique itself because its not everyday that you find someone to whom who can actually bare your soul.. And its a matter of great luck to find one...
Until then, singledom rocks because it gives you the freedom that even love doesn't... You can actually dream, live and enjoy things as an individual... Certainly because you wont get this time back, so make the most of it...
And sacrifice only when you truly feel the need to...!!!

being crazy.......

Dont know whether its the 'JWM' fear or incidents from my own life, But i am actually feeling really crazy and funny these days....Just laughing at my own thoughts which keep in just hours ( or wait... maybe minutes.. :P)
I have never felt so wacky, indecisive and short of words, ever..
Life has never been so fast that there is actually no time to think whats happening..
When i realise and get up to take charge and be sure, something really gets me down thinking...
Talking non-sense and rubbish [only where i get the liberty.. ;) ], beating drums and singing like the world is deaf, finding humour in every situation seems really surprising at the moment but am loving it too...!!!!!

A day of thanksgiving...

A beautiful feeling runs through you when you are taken care of. It just strikes at the moment when you feel left out in the world. It shows how important you are in someone's life. Today, i am truly cherishing the presence of two very good people in my life. They are my close friends who understand me completely.They may be distinctive in nature, thoughts and personality but they share a common thing, a place in my heart. The way they have channelised my life into a positive direction is remarkable.
A very special thanks to both of them who lifted up my spirits just when i needed it the most. They are perfect examples of true friends...
Standing up with me through thick and thin, even if i pulled their leg... ;)
I adore you both and just wanted to say that you are cherished...

The circle of life....

I came across a nice article, so thought of sharing it. Here it goes...
The writer contrasted the lives of two people and then concluded with a unique idea.
One was 'Pappu Singh', a meat shop owner in Chandni Chowk. His work started usually around 7
in the evening and by 9.30pm he used to wind up everything however large the crowd may be.
Somebody asked him, why does he do so, because staying till later can fetch him more customers
and some extra money.
His reply was simple. He didnt want his child to fall asleep by the time he reached home. For him,
the joy of putting his child to sleep was more than those 'extra' bucks.
The other was a software professional (i dont remember the name now) working for a MNC
and possessing loads of luxuries to boast of. His only problem was that he could not give anybody his time
and that made him lonely and hypertensed.
Pappu Singh, even though he could not afford everything, was very happy with the idea of his
basic needs which he never sacrificed for anything. However, the professional lost his happiness
somewhere while achieving his high profile business goals.
"Contentment" doesnt mean to work 24X7 and to roam about in a Mercedes.
It is all about getting happiness through every small moment of life.
The idea generated by the writer is that 'life is based on concentric circles'.
The innermost circle is 'YOU'. Your family forms the next innermost circle. Your friends the next and
so on.. Lastly, the outside world is represented by the outermost circle.
Happiness begins with the innermost circle. Its like.. if you are not happy, you cant make the others too.
The way you behave directly affects the other circles. So, always think and act.
However, we should never be affected too much by these external circles. Because the world never
defines us but we define our own world.
So whenever a problem arises, think 'yourself' as the centre
and then analyse and react.

The pursuit of happiness

Life never goes the way we wish to take it but nevertheless it offers us plenty.
Finding weaknesses and mistakes is pretty far easy but finding happiness from all sadness is really challenging but rewarding and trust me, you'll be more joyful if you can acquire it..
Its like....
"Khushi mein toh sabhi khush rehte hai,
par gham mein se khushi dhoodne ka
mazza hii doosra hai...."
It is how we perceive the environment that makes the difference..
For those who say that they havent experienced anything good in life, i differ from them.. Its just that they overlooked the hidden happiness they got from those bad situations..
Its like.. when we wanna reach the 'stars', we may not notice the 'moon' on the way..!!
Just recollect the time when your parents might might have been called by the school principal for a prank of yours.. It may have been embarassing then but it might be bringing a smile on your face now... bcoz its ok...after all nobody is a saint..
There is always a good element attached to everything that happens in your life (like you may get ditched for a better partner in the future, you may be having slow career growth bcoz mayb you are supposed to rule later...)
The need is only to open your eyes to it and feel the good vibes because maybe life doesnt give you a second chance for this 'bitter-sweet' happiness.... :)


Sometimes good sometimes bad, if you notice in the long run it gives the best we can have..

Happiness

Happiness cannot be categorised because there are several different ways through which they feel happy. For some, riding their new bike is happiness, for others it might be their new crush.
For some it maybe their recognition or celebrating with friends.
For a small kid even an ice cream does the job.
Actually, happiness is a state of mind.
It does not depend on the situation but depends on how you react to it.You may be angry with your boss
for humiliating you but a sudden shopping spree can provide you great pleasure.
Life offers us everything but leaves the decision to us as to how to accept it. There are people
who may possess everything but still may not be happy with it.
Or for instance, a poor man who is simply glad if he gets just his basic three meals.
It is a count of how you look at life that makes us happy.

so, enjoy life with what you have
rather than what you could have had.....

Wonder, if you get to go to the place which you saw once with young eyes, strolling down those lanes and remembering those moments can be really surprising.
The fun of recollecting every single thing by a just a glance at it is amazing. It really makes you feel that those things actually never went out of your mind, but were somewhere deep hidden..
The People and the atmos may have changed but the feel of it all remains the same.. It never looks new even after so many years..It simply comes as a surprise when you can recount many things you did there, laughing thoroughly till your spirit breaks....
It just feels if you could go back to that time which everything was so free and unbound yet so pure...


I seriously wish if there could be a time machine to help me in this...!!!
